The Anchor Folk Club holds sessions of live music from 8:30pm to 11:00pm every Thursday Night in the Blue Anchor Public House , in High Road , Byfleet , Surrey , KT14 7RL . The club has its own web site at http://www.anchorfolk.org.uk/ where the schedule shows whether a Singers' night or a Guest is performing on each Thursday .

Norah Rendell and Brian Miller at Anchor Folk Club on 11th Feb 2010
11th February 2010 :- Norah Rendell from Canada and Brian Miller from USA met in Ireland and brought first class tunes and songs with a celtic influence to the club .
I took over the Webmaster role for the Anchor Folk Club web site in May 2004 . This blog is my attempt to allow comments on the club nights (and Web Site)to be used to help enhance the club
